At Insurance NSW, we’re all about making the insurance process as easy as possible. You can choose from a range of different payment methods, giving you flexibility on how and when you pay for your insurance.
If you are looking to pay for Travel Insurance*, Farm Insurance*, Heavy Motor Insurance* or Workers Compensation* please speak to your Insurance NSW Adviser or read the payment options available on your insurance renewal statement.
For the rest of INSW Insurance products, you can choose to pay online using your credit card, through BPAY or at Australia Post.
1. Online by credit card - the fast secure and convenient option
You can pay for your INSW Insurance product online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, using either Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or Diners.
To complete your payment, you will need to have on hand your:
Valid Policy Payment Reference Number. This can be found on the payment slip on the back of your insurance renewal statement
Credit card number and expiry date
2. Internet Banking - BPAY
If you prefer to use Bpay, simply contact your bank, credit union or building society to make the payment from your cheque, savings or credit card account. The biller code and your reference number are found on the payment slip on the back of your insurance renewal statement. Find out more: www.bpay.com.au
3. Visiting Australia Post
If you’d like to pay for your INSW insurance product when you are out picking up the mail or groceries, simply visit Australia Post. If there is a barcode on your insurance renewal statement, you can present the notice intact to any post office or post office agency. Unfortunately, if there is no barcode, you will need to use either the BPAY, online, mail or phone option.
